Ryan Swearingen is a seasoned real estate professional and a magnetic people person. He applies an interpersonal approach to his practice, taking the time to get to know each client so that he can understand and meet their goals. Ryan kicked off his agent career in 2016 at a brokerage firm, spent one year perfecting his industry skills, and branched off independently. In 2022, after earning his broker's license and facilitating $35 million in career sales, Ryan founded Keel Real Estate, a service-focused lifestyle real estate company serving Southwest Florida.

Ryan boasts a bachelor's degree in psychology from Cal State Los Angeles and a master's degree in forensic mental health counseling. Originally from sunny Southern California, Ryan spent years in New York City, where he ran a private practice in Brooklyn and worked as a group therapist at a local hospital. For a decade, he sharpened his counseling skills — including active listening, guided discovery, and motivational interviewing — in the bustling Big Apple before finally settling down in Southwest Florida.

Bridging his acute listening skills from psychology to real estate, Ryan delivers results tailored to his customers' unique needs. He values integrity and loyalty above all, which naturally shine through in the attentive and steadfast focus he provides to each client. Ryan easily connects people to the properties and buyers of their dreams with his vast knowledge of the local land and its appreciating areas.

His experience helping individuals doesn't stop at a professional level, though. Throughout his life, Ryan served the homeless population and other underprivileged communities both nationally and abroad.

When he's not busy finding clients their dream homes or saving the world, Ryan values time at home with his wife and two sons. He maintains a grateful and positive life perspective practicing Brazilian jiujitsu and other sports under the perennial Florida sunshine.
